Cat ear bulge, face swelling, open wound: What should I do?

My cat has something wrong with his ear but im not sure what to do it started a a big bulge on the back of his ear and swelling in his face now it's and open wound covering his whole eae. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 10 lbs

Without seeing at least a photo it is very difficult to say what is going on here. It sounds likely that he has an ear hematoma (swelling of the ear flap) possibly due to an underlying ear infection. If he is scratching at it then that is probably why his whole ear seems affected. The other options would be a skin parasite, an allergic reaction or even a skin cancer. It is best to get him to your vet for an exam so he can get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
