Dazey will be fine! If she did not eat a lot, this shouldn't cause any problems. The issue would be if she ate a lot, then that could cause pancreatitis. I'd just watch her to be safe. If you see vomiting, abdominal pain, a hunched up appearance, lethargy, or a loss of appetite, take her into a vet immediately. I hope this helps!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This may result in gastrointestinal upset or pancreatitis though they may be just fine without any clinical symptoms. I highly recommend that you continue to monitor them closely for any signs consistent with gastrointestinal upset such as vomiting, inappetence and/or diarrhea and have them evaluated by a veterinarian if these are observed. Good luck and have a great day!

It is possible that butter could cause pancreatitis, but that small amount is unlikely to cause a problem. However,’if she has a history of pancreas problems then I would be more concerned. If this is the case then she should be seen by your veterinarian immediately to discuss inducing vomiting. However, with a low risk ingestion I usually don’t induce vomiting as aspiration can be a risk of vomiting and may pose more risk than the butter. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
