Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Female | spayed

Hello Vets, My 5 year old English bulldog just started passing small blood clots in her Urine, the urine seems fine with the exception of a small blood clot every time she pees, she don’t seem uncomfortable, she’s eating and drinking normal and playing around, should I be rushing her to the ER ? Is there anything I can do at home right now ?

Poor Luna. As I’m sure you know, blood clots in the urine are not normal and when a dog is passing visible blood, it does require an immediate vet visit. Even though she is acting normally, I would take her into an ER vet right away. I hope this helps.
