My dog has a strange rash like spit in the crease of his tail and his bottom. It’s flaking a little bit and he bites it it itch it. What is it and what can I do to relieve the itch and possible heal it? Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Male | neutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 25 lbs

It looks like he has a dermatitis/skin infection. You could bathe him with an antimicrobial dog shampoo and spray the area with Vetricyn spray and see if that helps. Otherwise, he should be examined by a vet for treatment. He may need an antibiotic and anti-Inflammatory to treat.
