My hamster is licking her genitals and has white discharge. What is it?

Yesterday night when I was playing with her, I'm pretty sure that there was nothing in her genital area.. but when I woke up this morning, she was licking her genital area and there was a little white discharge, maybe pus.. I don't know.. I am not sure if it's soft or hard but when I touch it she moves a little otherwise she is fine.. she is eating and playing looks normal. What is this? Is it an abscess? And as there is no exotic vet in my city, is there any way I can help her treat it at home? Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 5 days old | 0.26 lbs

Thanks for reaching out about Miko and including photos. A vaginal plug is fairly normal with hamsters and can be passed, every few weeks, dependent on her reproductive cycle. This should only last for a day or two. If persists, a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Good luck.
