My puppy had diarrhea and stopped eating, now playful. What to do?

Good morning. My 6 weeks puppy stopped eating any food all day yesterday, and last night he had diarrhea ( was solid thru the day). This morning he woke up and eat all his food and had 1 going of diarrhea, but he is very playful and look healthy today. I live far away from any vet, but I can get medication at the pharmacy if needed. Would like to hear your opinion on what to do.... Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 1 month and 6 days old

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If your puppy is eating now, not vomiting, and his energy level is high, you should feed him bland diet (cooked, lean meat with rice or pasta) for a few days. Mild diarrhoea in puppies is often self-limiting but if it continues for longer than 4-5 days, you should take your Donut to your nearest vet for an appointment.
