Hello does this a bacterial infection or something else I need also to see a vet for, it is red and she scratches at it occasionally

Hello. This is a touch of skin acne, which often has a bacterial component to it. Make sure you are using either stainless steel or ceramic/glass water & food dishes. Gently clean Selene's chin daily using benzoyl peroxide or chlorhexidine shampoo or pads. If using shampoo, make sure to remove all soap residue. If the chin lesions persist after a week or so of cleaning, she may need antibiotics )( oral or topical ) to help treat this. Thanks for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
