My dog has a strange fleshy, white sore on his neck. What to do?

Recently noticed a strange sore on my dogs lower neck. There’s a small amount of blood crusted in the fur but the sore now is looks very fleshy and white

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Taz. Poor boy. I would gently clean the sore with warm water and antiseptic soap. Keep the sore clean and dry, and monitor it for signs of infection. If you see redness, swelling, warmth to the touch, or pus, then it is infected and he will need to see the vet for antibiotics to treat it. I hope this helps!
