My 1-month-old kittens have an eye infection. What should I do?

I'm sorry to hear that! It is best to bring the kittens into your vet so they can be treated with antibiotics for the infection and any other underlying issues taken care of. Until you can get to your vet, a warm clean washcloth can be used to keep the eyes open and free of debris, and keeping the kittens eating and drinking may help keep them comfortable.

    Poor Lilly! Any eye infection needs to be examined and treated by a vet. There are no home remedies for this. Leaving an eye infection untreated can lead to vision loss, so give a vet a call today to make an appointment for her to be seen and treated. Best of luck.
