New puppy has diarrhea, sneezing, and peeing a lot. What's wrong?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 months and 11 days old | 20 lbs

I got her from the humane society about a week and a half ago. I took her for a well check visit, but they didn’t check temp or anything. I told them she was having some issues like diarrhea and urinate urinating constantly JA: I'll do all I can to help. What type of animal arewe talkingabout? Customer: they said it may be nerves, but it’s been a week and a half and hasn’t gotten better. She woke up and sounds like she can’t catch her breath (reverse sneazing I’ve heard idk) and she pooped outsi

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Nola. I'm sorry she isn't doing well. Intestinal worms are common in puppies, and that could be the cause of her diarrhea. She could have a respiratory infection or irritation of the nasal passages causing the reverse sneezing. Since she has not gotten better, it's time to see a vet. I'd take her into one in the morning. Best of luck.
