Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 11 months and 14 days old | 60 lbs
My dog seems ill. He seemed fine a few days ago, but I noticed his ears and feet were very warm. The next day I caught him dry heaving. Yellow foamy bile came up. Yestersay he seemed better. Today he had diarrhea 3 times and puke in his crate. Has no interest in food or water. What is wrong with him?

Poor guy. It could be a number of things going on with FInn. Gastrointestinal symtpoms such as vomiting, lethargy and inappetance in a puppy is highly suspicious of a foreign body obstruction, pancreatitis, parvovirus (if he is not fully vaccinated) or even a severe bacterial infection. Because all these conditions can look very similar from just the symptoms, the next best step here is to have your vet take a look at Finn and get some bloodwork analysis done. Once your vet knows what the underlyling problem is, then specific treatment can be recommended to help Finn get well. I hope that your pet Finn makes a full recovery soon! Best of luck and take care.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. It is difficult to say for sure what the cause of the vomiting and diarrhea are. Could be due to dietary indiscretion, parasites, GI foreign body, etc. I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at Finn so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions / concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Poor Lily! With a combination of symptoms it sounds like she has developed gastroenteritis. This can be due to many things such as eating something inappropriate or infection etc. In many cases it is just like a bad tummy bug and improves in a few days. However sometimes the cause can be more serious and require veterinary treatment. If you think she seems weak or dehydrated I would get her examined. Likewise take her to the vet if symptoms are not improving in the next days.
