Hello my puppy about 10 months old, had 2 diarrheas in the middle of night and she has never once done that and then this morning after her usual potty routine vommited a large amount mainly water it seemed and he digested food from dinner last night. Is this something I should be concerned about or possibly just a upset stomach ?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bailey. It doesn't sound like she is feeling very well today. It is best for her to see a veterinarian. Fecal testing is commonly recommended. Based on her exam findings, she may need other tests such as x-rays. If there is blood in the stool or the vomit, then she needs to be seen right away. If she is eating, drinking and acting like herself and you elect to monitor her today, watch her closely. If the diarrhea/vomit continues, she become lethargic or refuses to eat or drink, then she will require veterinary care. Be sure to offer plenty of fresh water to prevent dehydration. If she is otherwise healthy, it is generally safe to withhold food for one meal (or to offer only a very small amount) to rest her GI tract. This can help to resolve mild cases of gastrointestinal upset. I hope this information helps!
