My normally antisocial 10-year-old cat is suddenly clingy. Why?

hi, so my normally antisocial 10 year old cat sudenlly wants attention and is currently laying on my chest and rubbing her head against mine. can you please tell me if i should be worried about her, and what it can possibly mean.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. This sudden change in behavior could be due to Trouble being uncomfortable from something. With her age, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her and test her blood and urine for any abnormal changes. If everything comes back normal, this may just be behavioral.
