Why is my dog bleeding and in heat 9 weeks after having puppies?

My female had a litter 9 weeks ago and she seems like she's in heat again bleeding. Is this normal?!

No, this doesn't sound normal. It's quite soon for Omega to go back into heat again. I'd be concerned this could be something more serious like a pyometra (infection of the uterus). I'd have her checked out by a vet tomorrow.

Why would my dog be going back in heat? It has been more than 21 days. Now she is bleeding again.
Most dogs typically go into heat twice a year. The questions to ask yourself are: 1. Has she ever done this before? 2. Does the blood look different? 3. Is she behaving differently? Occasionally, bitches do slow their bleeding and then start up again briefly towards the end, but it is not worth the risk to assume this is the case here. Pyometra is common in older, intact female dogs that have recently had a heat cycle. It is a very serious condition that typically requires surgical intervention. A dog's heat can last three to four weeks, so if she is still bleeding within that time frame, then it is normal. If it has been longer than four weeks, however, I would be concerned, and I would take Jade into the vet right away. This dripping blood could be a sign of a uterine infection called a pyometra, which is life threatening and requires immediate medical attention.

Can a dog have a season two months after the last one?
No, it isn't normal for a dog to go into heat so soon after the last one, and what you may be seeing is a pyometra not a heat. A pyometra is a life threatening infection of the uterus that requires immediately medical attention. These are fatal without treatment. I would take Izzie into a vet immediately.

I have a 10 month old chow chow this is now her 2nd heat cycle on her 1st cycle she had a urine infection. She has been bleeding for 3 wks now of her food vomiting and pacing floors appears uncomfortable is this normal
3 weeks of bleeding is definitely not normal. Please, take Khaleesi to your local vest and get her checked-over. She may have, for example uterine infection called pyometra. It can look very similar to a season but most of the dogs will go off food, drink plenty of water and vomit. What is more, 2nd heat in 10 months old dog is definitely not normal. If your dog does have pyometra, she will need to spayed as an emergency.

My dogs just gave birth two months ago and her vagina is already swollen again but no blood discharge. She she in heat already? Is that normal? Should I be worried? Advice please
This is definitely possible that she is already back in heat. She could also have an infection so be sure to keep an eye out for any abnormal behavior like not eating, lethargy, or vomiting. If you see any abnormal behavior or just want to be sure, I would have your vet take a look at her to ensure she is healthy. I would not breed her during this heat cycle since she just had a litter. My dog Sakoni who is 10 months old is is comeing out of heat and she is no longer playful, all she does is sleep, and she has a small appetite. She is also bleeding ALOT....is this normal??
No, bleeding a lot is not normal and if she was coming out of heat, the bleeding would be slowing down and stopping. Not bleeding more. I would be concerned that there is something else wrong with Sakoni such as an uterine infection. Because of this, I would have her seen by a vet as soon as possible. Please take her into a vet now. Hi there. My dog has been in heat the last few weeks. We thought that her being in heat was over, as she stopped bleeding and showing any signs of excess blood. The last few days she has been bleeding so much that it is literally all over the floor.

I have a 1 year old Golden that went into her first heat. It lasted 26 days and ended 22 days ago. Now she is dripping blood again. She is acting normal, eating and playing. I read young dogs may have abnormal heats.
This is true. It could be normal for her but since this is her first round, I would have your vet take a look at her to ensure there isn't an infection since this he is first round. Your vet will be able to ensure she is healthy and doesn't need any treatment.

Hi my dog came into season nearly 8 weeks ago I mated her on day 12 and 14 she hasn't stopped bleeding since no funny colour or smell to it any ideas what it could be or if it is normal
Bleeding 8 weeks after the start of a heat cycle is abnormal, bleeding usually occurs up to 3 weeks from the start of the heat cycle, it could be due to an ovarian cyst or some other reproductive abnormality, I would strongly recommend taking Frankie to the vet to get it checked ASAP.
