My cat's anal glands hurt. Can I get OTC meds or financial help?

I think my cat may have a problem with her anal glands. I can’t afford to take her to the vet but is there any medication I could get for her elsewhere? She is in a lot of pain, and has poo all up her back legs and tail. I don’t want to try and clean her because it may cause her pain.

That area looks bad, and I'm concerned her anal sacs could be infected and ruptured. I'm also very concerned that Basel is in a lot of pain. Unfortunately there is no medication you can get for her over the counter, and she has to see a vet now. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants. I want to give my cat relief until she gets to the vet. she has an impacted anal gland. I dont think its opened yet. I can tell shes in pain. Also should i let her lick it?
There is no safe over the counter medication for cats. You can try to apply a warm compress to help alleviate some discomfort. You can let her lick it, but it will likely rupture from her messing with it, and this may relieve some pressure. If that happens, you can try to flush is with a little water, but be careful this may be uncomfortable and she may not let you do it. I would try to get her to a vet in the morning because it will need antibiotics to get well completely
