Why is my male cat peeing on my bed and yowling after moving?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old

One year old male cat, no shots yet, litter box trained but recently moved from a house with lots of outdoor space to an apartment with only a balcony. He’s litter box trained but often urinates outside of the box, usually on my bed. Also yowls for long periods of time.

Snupe could be yeowling because he wants to go roaming for females with which to mate, and he may be marking his territory with urine. I'd have him seen by a vet for this problem, and get him neutered.
