My 4 month old puppy Is lethargic, not eating or drinking,he’s been puking all day yesterday and some of it’s like a bright highlighter yellow color. Today he’s not getting up on his own. I have to lift him up for him to stand up. He got ahold of a dead bird in the yard a couple of days ago. I can’t afford a vet bill. What are my options on helping him?

I’m sorry to hear about Zeus. I am very concerned about him and he needs a vet as soon as possible. He is probably extremely dehydrated by now and may even be heading toward shock. I am extremely concerned for an intestinal blockage or parvo virus. Regardless of cause, Zeus desperately needs some fluids- probably IV- and anti nausea medication. I do not recommend anything by mouth because he will probably just vomit it up and I cannot be sure that he is swallowing properly. In short, at this point, there is nothing you can do for Zeus other than take him to a vet immediatley. Many places will work with care credit ( carecredit.com ) If money is an issue. Best of luck to you and Zeus.
