Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 12 years old | 100 lbs
My Golden Retriever started getting two lumps on his skin. They look like a marbles and are about the same size. They have stopped growing. What should I do?

This growths on Teddy could be benign, but in a senior dog, there is always a chance that they would be malignant. Any suspicious lumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I'd give your vet a call to make an appointment to have these growths examined and diagnosed so they can be treated if needed. Best of luck, I hope this helps.
