Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 4 years and 2 months old | 10 lbs
My 4 year old dachshund girl has thrown up for three days in a row ,has not had much of an appetite, eating lots of grass and generally not herself. I have been changing her food a bit in the past couple weeks but she doesn’t even want treats half the time now. Just wants to be held and sleep by me. She seemed fine this morning but as the day wore on she seemed to get worst. What should I do? Please help me I am scared that something is wrong that is really bad.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bailey. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian for the continued vomiting. I suspect her GI upset is due to the frequent diet changes, but you want to ensure there is nothing else effecting her. She may need some testing and/or medication to make her feel better. It is generally safe to hold a dog off of food for 18-24 hours. This will rest the gastrointestinal tract and can relieve the vomiting. However, you must supply plenty of water so that she does not become dehydrated. I hope this information helps!
