My dog keeps vomiting, but tests are inconclusive. What's wrong?

Lady keeps vomiting. I've changed her food to hypoallergenic and it has helped. She has had a scan and blood tests but all proved inconclusive. She seems ok in herself but no one seems to know what the underlying cause is. Have you got any idea what could be causing this. Pancreatitis and liver function have also been checked and so far seem ok. The vet is vexed Lady is fed up and it's costing me a fortune in vet bills and kitchen roll. HELP!!!!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Lady. Has she had her cobalamin and folate levels checked? These are vitamins used in digestion. Vomiting will result if the normal are abnormal especially with decreased cobalamin. This would be the first thing I would do if it has not been done already. Also is she eating anything else aside from the diet? If so, it will make the diet less effective. If the diet is helping, I suspect she has either a food allergy or inflammatory bowel disease. You may also discuss a steroid trial with her veterinarian to decrease intestinal inflammation. I hope this information helps!
