Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 8 years old | 11 lbs
My 7yo cat is having trouble going to the bathroom. We're undergoing a house reno in a tiny house, everything is in disarray, there is plaster dust everywhere, and we are having to move her and her sister room to room (along with their box & food/water) every other day. I noticed her frequent the box, and also found 2 small dots of blood on the floor throughout the house. She sits in the box awhile and doesn't really go much, if at all. Otherwise, she acts totally normal.

Cystitis or flutd is very common in cats, generally triggered by stressful events. Prescription pain medications, wet food and most especially wet diets specifically formulated for urinary tract issues with stress relief supplements can make a massive difference. Temporary cattery boarding may also be considered
