A lot of puppies will get a parvovirus shot at 6 weeks to give them sime early protection. However they still need to get their full vaccination course at 8 weeks and then again 4 weeks later. Typically this will include parvo, distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and leptospirosis. Rabies is usually at 12 weeks. This will vary between vet practices and area so best to double check with your clinic.
