My dog has diarrhea and vomiting. Could it be from eating something?

My 9 y/o spayed Pomeranian has diarrhea and vomiting since last night. There was one solid stool overnight, now very liquid, and foamy vomitus on empty stomach. She often finds/eats roadkill dead lizards or toads, etc on her walks. She also looks for rabbit poop. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 8 years and 5 months old | 7.5 lbs

If she is otherwise acting okay then you could withhold food for 12 hours and then try a bland diet like boiled chicken breast and white rice. You could also add a probiotic, like Fortiflora or Proviable to her diet. If the vomiting and diarrhea continues then she needs to be examined and treated by a vet. Your vet can run some tests to help determine the cause and then prescribe medications to treat the vomiting and diarrhea. She may need an anti-vomiting medication, antibiotic, dewormer, etc.
