Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 13 years and 7 months old

Hello, my cat keeps sneezing even though he took his medicine: antibiotics (amoxicilline) and antihistamines (Loratadine), it seems like his nose is full and he breaths with his mouth, he ate a little but he doesn't seem well, and from time to time he has a sneeze attack, it's his first take of medicine, is it normal that he's still sick? does it take long for the medicines to do their effect? and what can i do to help him? Thank's

Loratidine has pretty much no effect on cats and amoxicilline is not the antibiotic of choice to treat upper respiratory infections. i would recommend asking your vet to switch the treatment to one of the following antibiotics: Veraflox, Doxycicline or Zhitromax.

Usually the antibiotic injection doesn't work very well for these type of upper respiratory infection, i would recommend asking your vet to switch to an oral suspension such as Veraflox or Zhitromax which are much more effective against this condition.
