Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed
My dog is pregnant. She has shown signs of pre labor off and on. She has been nesting, panting, whimpering, and wining off and on for a few days now. She started to lose her mucus plug about 3 days ago. Today she has been sleeping alot deeper, even snoring. Her stomach has made gurgling noises and she has looked scared during these times. I reassure and comfort her. How long does this usually last? She will not let me check her temp.

A good indication that whelping day is less than 24 hours away is a rectal temperature recording below 99F. My suggestion is to get someone to help you take her temperature. This is going to be your best indicator as to when labor will start. This article may help you with any more questions you may have: ( https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/breeding-for-pet-owners-whelping-in-dogs ) Always, your best bet if you have questions is to call your vet. It is extremely important to have a local vet that you work closely with when you are breeding dogs. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
