I am sorry to hear about your kitty. Unfortunately it appears this product can be toxic in cats. I would wash your kitty with dawn dishsoap if he is alert enough not to inhale any liquid during the bath (don't bathe him if he is seizuring or unconcious) and call your vet right away for further information on treatment that will be needed. You can also consult Pet Poison Control for more information on management of this toxicity http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/ phone number 855-764-7661

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If your cat is still neurologic after starting these medications I would stop them. Be sure the scabies were diagnosed from a skin scraping and you know for sure he has scabies. If his symptoms are from the injection then sadly we can't take that away and he may need time for it to wear off. And it's hard to tell you since I do not know what the injection was. I worry he is reacting to ivermectin. Once he is normal you can discuss with your Vet using revolution or Advantage multi for the scabies. I wish you the best!

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If Zoo is showing these symptoms it mat be a side effect from the parasite treatment. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. Discontinue the lotion in the meantime. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! i a m so glad to hear that Zoo is eating! Sadly there is no medicine that will speed up the recovery for Zoo. If this was a toxic reaction to the Scabies medication that caused neurologic damage all we can do is patiently wait. Now that he is eating you can safely wait. I would do Passive Range of Motion (PROM) with his legs. Slowly stretch and bend all his joints twice daily to help prevent muscle atrophy. It could take several weeks to months to know for sure what permanent damage has been done. He may never be 100% again, but as long as he can get around, eat and use the litter box he should have a good quality of life. I wish you the best!
