My dog's back leg buckles and can't support weight, but no pain.

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 28 days old

As soon as she puts pressure on her back leg it buckles like it cannot support her weight but she isn’t in pain and let’s me move her leg about without protesting she is also still playing eating drinking but for some reason her back leg cannot support her weight she can still move it back and forth but cannot put weight on it Idk what happened she was left alone for 5 days I had a freind come and feed her and give her water each day my friend also doesn’t know what happened

She may have torn the cruciate ligament in her knee. Dogs with that injury don't always show pain, and nothing feels broken. It is the most common rear leg injury in dogs. They can injure it from jumping or slipping. If she is still not putting weight on her leg she needs a veterinary exam. If it's a torn ligament they can feel that and tell without x-rays. Most dogs with a torn cruciate need surgery to fix it but you can also look into taking her to a rehab vet for an evaluation. They may be able to give you home exercises that may help. If she isn't using the leg it probably is uncomfortable even if she doesn't show it. Your veterinarian can prescribe a safe pain medication for her.
