Hi there! Lily has been vomiting an intact food. We have a walk this day and she is eating small pebbles. When she throw up, it is an intact food of the food she recently eat and the pebbles that she may have got during the walk. The food they gave her is a rice mixed with a sardines. She vomits water after the food. I am thinking of feeding her chicken bland diet now. Is it alright? What first aid should I do? Thank you!

Yes, I would agree that starting a bland chicken diet is a good idea. You may even want to withhold food for 24 hours to let the GI tract rest. If after reintroducing the bland diet Lily is still vomiting I would recommend taking her to the vet. She may need medication to help stop the vomiting, fluids if she has become dehydrated and possibly X-rays to ensure she does not have a foreign body/blockage. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
