My dog has a small, hard, movable lump on its back. Is it okay?

Without being able to see the lump and palpating it and doing a biopsy, I cannot tell you whether it is fine Observe the lump over the next two weeks. If it grows, changes size or color or shape, or if it starts to ooze or ulcerate, if the hair around it falls out, or if you notice any changes at all. take Suzie to your vet to have the lump checked. If it is not doing any of these things, you can have it examined the next time you take her in for vaccinations. This could be anything, an insect bite, a cyst, an abscess, a tumor.
