Should I feed my cat more after dental surgery if she's hungry?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 years and 3 months old | 9 lbs

DR. Melanie of you see this great If not no worries ! My Kitty had dental surgery today and the vet tech said not to give her a lot of food the first night . About 2.5 hours ago I have her half of her normal amount and she's pacing around the room l think looking for food do you think it's okay if I give her more tonite ? thank you !

Hi Laila, I did see your post!!! I'm so glad the dental surgery went well today. Given that the vet tech said not to give her a lot of food tonight, I would follow those instructions. It will be ok for tonight for her to have a little less, tomorrow you can give her the normal amount. Hope all is good :-)
