My duck has a foot injury from long nails. How do I treat it?

Hi, I have a pet duck, not sure what breed though. And she has a bruise on her feet probably caused by her long fingernails. How can i tend to this bruise? Is it bad that she has a bruise on her feet? It was bleeding the other day but now it looks like a blot clot already. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 3 days old

Keep the area clean and dry. If necessary, clip the tips of the nails. Keep her on clean bedding also. You can use raw honey with a light wrap of the foot. Change the wrap daily. Monitor for lameness, swelling, discharge, odor or lethargy. She will need veterinary attention if she develops any of these symptoms.
