Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered
are there Vets anywhere that understand animals get sick and their owners have their money invested in bills for their home and food, where as one can actually pay out a vet cause of no insurance for older cats. Don't vets take an oath to save a life or do they take an oath that money only matters not animals first.

I am sorry that your cat is having health issues. I think all vets understand that animals get sick and that some owners have a hard time paying for vet bills but vets also need to pay their own bills and may not be able to afford to give free services. Discuss with your vet the minimum treatment plan that might help your cat. Also, ask if they have a payment plan or accept care credit. There might also be a low cost clinic in your area that may be able to help. You could also contact your local humane society and see if they can help. Hope that you can find some help for your cat.

There are many charities which can help you provide for veterinary services should you not be in a position to care for your pet. Vets are people too and we understand that sometimes unexpected bills arise but your pet and their food, medical and registration bills are your responsibility. Health, welfare and the prevention and alleviation of suffering are the cornerstones of practice and the provision of such does cone with a cost, charitable funds can help within reason and euthanasia should be considered if a pet is suffering and treatment is not available or cannot be provided for.
