Why is my dog's mouth quivering or shaking when he's lying down?

My dog’s mouth is quivering/shaking as he’s laying down. He’s never done this before, he’s a 1 year old lab.

If he will allow, look in and around his mouth for any signs of infection, injury or foreign bodies. This may include redness, swelling, discharge, bruising or bleeding. See your veterinarian for an exam if anything suspicious is noted.
