Hello, I have two male and two female budgies. One is paired and another is unpaired. The paired one is mated and now my female budgie is going to lay eggs.but I want to know that can my budgie die from it? She is mated from 1 week but no egg..? What should I do for successful breeding? Or if not...can I stop them?

Thanks for reaching out about Sweety. It is very difficult to prevent egg laying in your situation, even with hormones. A well rounded, healthy diet is most important, to replace nutrients lost in egg production, especially eggs. Pellets, green vegetables, a vegetable protein source are very important. Photo period manipulation, removal of nesting sites/materials can help reduce egg production. Good luck.
