My cat won't eat, is lethargic, and losing weight. What should I do?

My cat is not eating from last 5 days,he eat nothing like milk,bread,fish etc.he only sleep all time & his weight loos started.in 5 days his weight is reduce approx 50%.....please tell me the solution.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Cuty. He sounds very sick based on your description. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian if at all possible. Cats can actually develop severe liver disease if they go too long without eating. He will be examined. If he has a source of pain, this can affect appetite. An internal problem such as kidney disease or pancreatitis can make a cat less likely to eat as well. He may require laboratory work to diagnose his problem. From there, treatment can be started. In the meantime, try to syringe him small amounts of water to keep him hydrated. I hope this information helps!
