Why isn't my cat's chin acne clearing up after treatment?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 5 years and 10 months old | 8.1571 lbs

My cat has cat acne on his chin.i using chlorhyxidine to wash his chin and every 12 hrs using benzoyl peroxide gel for him, it's been 2 weeks right now! Nothing change only i can wash the blackheads easier than before,it is like wax and i can take it like paper. how long does cat acne take to clear up?

I would have Barf examined by a vet. Sometimes they need a round of oral or topical antibiotics to help it clear up. Also, make sure all food and water bowls are non-porous materials, stainless steel is best, and wash them daily.
