Vomiting can happen for lots of reasons, including dietary intolerance or indiscretion, food allergy, intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. But the vomit in the picture appears to contain blood (unless you feed your dog lots of red-colored foods or red Gatorade). I would recommend that you have your dog examined by an open vet today for evaluation.
