My dog's stitches look loose 5 days post-op. Should I see a vet?

Trick is 5 days post lump removal and I have noticed his stitches look loopy like they are coming undone he is healing well but does he need to be checked by vet or just leave it to continue healing until they are ready for removing in 9 days time. Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | 3 years and 10 months old
