My puppy is eating, drinking, and playing. Her activities are normal and she is not fatigue. Her vaccines are complete. What could be the cause of stool with mucus and pinkish discharge?

The most common causes of stool changes in a puppy is GI parasites so I suggest have Hailey's stool evaluated by a veterinarian. Your veterinarian can check for parasites and prescribe an appropriate medication to treat. Other causes of stool changes in a puppy can include infection, diet sensitivity or changes, or internal organ issues. If Hailey's diarrhea continues or she shows any other signs of illness she will need to be examined by a veterinarian. If the mucous or blood tinged stool persists hailey could become dehydrated, anemic, or malnourished. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope Hailey is feeling better soon!
