When is it safe to take my puppy camping after vaccinations?

Is it safe to take our puppy camping (Joshua Tree) after is second round of vaccinations? We will keep him on the leash and only walk fire trails (nothing off trail). Is there a risk of Parvo in the desert? Pet's info: Dog | Bernese Mountain Dog | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 11 days old | 28 lbs
