Facts about a bump appeared in June near ending her heat cycle On her inner leg Tiny round bump only grew a little since June Doesn’t bother her in any way even if I touch it FNA came back as something of the same cell that vet couldn’t identify Feels like a ball & is attached to her top layer of skin Is getting removed Could this be bad?Benign?Abscess? Mast cells would’ve shown on FNA, right? Is it safe to spay & remove it at same time? does this look or sound familiar to YOU?

Hello. I would bet that this is a benign intradermal cyst as it just does not have the look of anything malignant or dangerous. It is not an abscess & since it has not changed greatly in the past 10 months, it is definitely not anything to be overly concerned about. If you are planning to spay her, removing the cyst is an excellent thing to do as this will be curative. If you or your vet are still curious as to what it is, send the entire thing to the lab for histopathology & you will get a definitive diagnosis. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

This is likely benign but it is always recommended to have it removed and sent off to make sure. Mast cells usually show up on an FNA. I think it is completely safe for her to be spayed at the same time as the mass removal.
