Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 years and 10 months old | 16 lbs

My cat has a small round bump in his lower leg (under the thigh area. It had felt fluid like, but now more solid. Could this be a cyst, boil, pimple or tumor? Help!

This bump on Elijah could be a cyst, a benign tumor, from an insect bite, or it could be a malignant tumor. Unfortunately without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain what it is. Any suspicious bumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the bump to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I would take him into the vet on Monday to have this bump examined and diagnosed so it can be treated as needed. I hope this helps, best of luck!
