My cat is suddenly tired, threw up food & hairball. Vet needed?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 years and 7 months old | 13 lbs

Hello so Crowley is acting a bit strange, he seems tired, and of as playful as he usually is. He was fine earlier so it’s kinda a sudden tiredness? Anyways I was checking on him and he woke up and the. Threw up food and a small hair ball. I’m just not sure if he needs to see a vet yet.

Many cats become quiet if nauseous and vomiting, I would recommend a vet check if he is refusing to drink or if vomiting is persistent (longer than 24hrs). Regular use of hairball paste can help prevent some such episodes
