Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 7 years and 4 months old
Our 7 year old German Shepherd Lab mix has not had an appetite for approximately 3 days. On the first day I got her to eat a little wet food and the following two evenings she took a bite or two of pork chops and then sausage. She's drinking a lot of water, a lot more than is usual even for the 1 oz per lb guideline. She frequently urinates, passes very small stools and has some very bad breath. She also vomited once yesterday and once today, all of it being water. Kidney failure is our worry.

It could be kidney failure. Without blood testing you will not be able to know for sure. I actually think it is more likely she has a pyometra since she is not spayed and based on the signs you described. A pyometra is a severe uterine infection that can be life-threatening. You really need to get her to a vet ASAP. ( https://vcahospitals.com/lynnfield/know-your-pet/pyometra-in-dogs )
