What to do if my dog is vomiting, has diarrhea, and can't keep meds down?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 9 months old

My dog started vomiting and having loose stools and has been vomiting whatever food i tried to give. It drinks water and i have been giving him ice cubes to avoid dehydration. His urine is deep yellow, his legs shake when be stands up, my vet told to give him a syrup but he vomited even that. What should i do?

I am so sorry to hear about Mike. There are many different possible causes for these symptoms. If your dog is not able to keep the medications down without vomiting it sounds like he may need to be hospitalized/treated at the vet with injectable medication to help stop the vomiting and IV fluids to help treat dehydration. The vet may need to do tests like x-rays or bloodwork to figure out what is causing the vomiting https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/vomiting-1/ as this can determine how it needs to be treated.
