I'm sorry to hear that you lost your dog to parvo. Parvovirus is very resistant and can live in the environment for up to a year despite attempts to properly disinfect the premises. Personally, I would not even consider taking another puppy/dog into that area for at least 6-8 months and that would only be after I have disinfected everything a couple of times and only brought a fully vaccinated puppy home. Fully vaccinated means that the puppy has had 3 sets of parvo vaccines at 3-4 week intervals starting at 8 weeks of age and ending at 4 months of age. This article has instructions on how to disinfect your home after parvovirus: ( https://www.thesprucepets.com/parvovirus-disinfecting-the-environment-of-parvo-3385003 ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

I am so sorry to hear that all those puppies fell ill to parvovirus. Parvovirus can only be killed by bleach. A combination of 1 part bleach and 9 parts water should be able to disinfect the home. However, the yard is harder to disinfect, so its best to keep the puppy indoors only until she is fully vaccinated, which is around 4 months of age. Here is more detailed info on other ways to disinfect your home that should help tremendously! --> https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951459 I do hope that your puppy Vana remains parvo free. Start her vaccines now to help build up her immunity and hopefully she remains healthy and grows up into adulthood. Best wishes and take care!
