My bearded dragon has a broken leg. Should I splint or cast it?

My bearded dragon got an x-ray and has a broken bone and 2 fractures. The vet suggested to increase vitamin intake and 'reset' his limb to a natural position when I notice they are bent. My question is, should I splint or cast the broken leg to keep it at an appropriate and natural position? Pet's info: Reptile | Bearded Dragon | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Medisi. Fractures tend to heal better and faster if immobilized, so a splint/cast is recommended. This will quicken the healing process, along with dietary improvement including calcium. Exposure to UVB radiation is very important for calcium absorption. Good luck.
