Why is my cat still vomiting frothy digested food after vet visit?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 7.94 lbs

Coco had recent complaints of loose stools and vomiting. I took her too vet, her stools are normal now and she's active, eating well but once in a while she vomits. Vomit is frothy and mostly her digested food. I'm worried, please help. Taking her to vet tomorrow again.

Hi, and thanks for your question. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed.
