Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog (duplicate) | Female | unspayed | 65 lbs
Phoebe has a cough, she was recently treated for heartworms but the cough is the only symptom she has. It usually ends with her hacking up some saliva onto the floor. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can give her for the cough? Or should I take her back to where she got her heartworm treatment?

Ideally, she should be rechecked by you veterinarian. The cough may be lingering effects from the heartworm infection or it could be something else (infection or inflammation). There is nothing over the counter you can safely give her. Always check with you rvet first before medicating a pet.
