How long after giving birth can a young, first time mother get pregnant again? This mother is still nursing her kittens.

Hi there, A young, healthy, fertile cat could become pregnant within weeks of giving birth to her first litter. It is absolutely possible for a stray cat to become pregnant again while nursing. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
